Installing

Download the latest release for your platform from https://github.com/FRC2207/RoboRoute/releases/latest

Extract all the files from the archive, and run the NTOverAOA application

Installing the Android App​

Turning on USB Debugging​

On your device

  • Find the build number in the about section in settings and tap it 7 times
  • Under the developer options menu in settings find "enable usb debugging" and turn it on

Installing the APK​

Now on your computer,

  • Navigate to the setup tab
  • Select the usb device from the dropdown, it should show up as some numbers first, then a name like 17ef:201c LENOVO TB336FU
  • Click browse and select the .apk file from the extracted directory
  • Click install, there will be a prompt on the device that you will need to accept

Done!

Driver Setup (Windows Only)​

Navigate to the setup tab, select the usb device from the list, and click install

Selecting the wrong usb device can result in a system driver being replaced, or another usb device becomming unuseable, both causing damage to your computer and devices. RoboRoute midigates these issues by filtering out non android devices from the selector

Connecting​

Navigate to the connection tab, The robot's IP address will come from the driver station when it is open, if it isn't or you are running simulation, you can manually change it in the dropdown

Click connect
